HAWA MAHAL ( THE PALACE OF WIND) is a palace in Jaipur City, India. It was made with red and pink sandsone. It was built in 1799 by Maharaja Pratap Singh. The grandson of Maharaja Jai Singh. Its unique five floors exterior is akin to the honeycomb of a beehive with its 953 small windows called Jharokas decorated with intricate latticework.
